PC sluggish & generally driving you MAD ?
Over time it is normal for the performance of a PC to decline. This is generally caused by a build up of temporary files (which aren’t needed), the hard disk becoming fragmented and additional programs being loaded at startup and running in the background.
SPS offer a full system health check and tune-up to get your PC back to its optimal performance. We will:
- Physically clean the inside of your PC (desktops only) to remove any build up of dust on the fans and circuit boards.
- Check all internal connectors.
- Use software tools to examine the files which are loaded at startup and disable those which are not needed.
- Remove all unnecessary temporary and ‘cached’ files from your system.
- Optimise Windows performance settings.
- Defragment your hard drive.
In addition to the above we will assess how fully your system is protected against viruses, spyware, hackers and other ‘malware’. If necessary we will make recommendations about how you can improve your system’s security at zero cost.
When the health check is complete & with your agreement we will leave a small suite of programs installed on your PC which will allow us, if required, to perform future tune-ups using our Remote Helpdesk service - reducing the cost to you.
The cost of this service is €45.00 plus travel at cost 1.
1 Travel distances are calculated from Thiviers, 24800. Travel within a 10km radius is free. Distances greater than 10km are charged at a rate of €0.25 per kilometer (one way only). Distances over 60km from Thiviers may incur an additional surcharge to cover our time.
